“As a parent, I so appreciate that character development and kindness are promoted so prominently in the culture of the Calgary Girls Choir.   Kindness is an expectation and is stated clearly on camp and tour contracts: friendliness, politeness and consideration for others must be a way of life for us. Notice how others are feeling around you – BE FRIENDLY. Go out of your way to talk to everyone- not just your own “group”. Be helpful and considerate to each other.  My daughter came home from her first rehearsal at the senior level and kept telling me how welcoming everyone was. As a parent, this is precisely what I wish for my child.”
