“I wanted to let you know how wonderful the experience has been for (our daughter) belonging to the Calgary Girls Choir. Not only does she have fun singing, but she has also developed deep and meaningful friendships with her peers. She expressed this one day when she said in the choir she feels that she is accepted for who she is, is not criticized for any inadequacies and feels that the choir is a true community. I wanted to let you know this because this can only come from the leadership which values and respects the individual worth of each member there, so that they can become their best and truest selves. I am so very glad that (our daughter) has had the opportunity to be part of this, and to learn the most beautiful music in the world. I want to applaud your great gifts which help these girls to sing like angels and behave like compassionate human beings.”
